At first glance, Tepa appears to be another taco shop in a typical suburban strip mall. But go inside, and you'll realize that this is way more than just "another taco shop".
I did an enchilada/chile relleno combo plate, and I was greeted by a poblano stuffed with good cheese and coated in an egg batter that withstood the drenching of salsa without overpowering the chile. Also, the enchilada was drenched with that very tasty salsa roja that kept me wanted more. And even better, they gave me fresh, hot tortillas that gave me the perfect excuse to try some of the salsas from their full salsa bar!
Everyone else in our group was also happy with the grub here. All in all, this hole in the wall provided plenty of muy delicioso-ness for me to stuff my pie hole with... And hopefully, I'll be back soon to try more of their offerings. -

So this is the first mexican restaurant that I have tried so far since moving into the area . I'm always hesitant when I try new mexican restaurants in fear of the food not being good . So normally i just stick to the basics with food choices . I ordered the shredded chicken super nachos and two shrimp tacos . Roughly cost me about $14 for everything , which is not THAT bad . I got my order to go instead of dining in since I had my kids with me .
Overall the chicken nachos were good , I wish they would have added a little more chicken . I had to add extra salt on the nachos for the taste . But again overall they were actually good . As for the shrimp tacos they were decent , I've definitely had better shrimp tacos . Will I come back to this establishment ? Yes sure . I'm looking forward to trying something new off the menu . As the saying goes it's a first time for everything . -

This is my favorite place in town to get tacos, burritos, and tostadas. I highly recommend the shrimp tostada, shrimp burrito, and tacos al pastor! Carne asada tacos are very good too. I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered here so far. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Everything I have ordered is very affordable and personally, I think everything else on the menu is too! Parking is abundant here so you'll never have to worry about where to park. I will be coming back here very often for the tacos and the shrimp tostadas! I can't believe that I didn't order the shrimp tostadas when I was here before.

Weird place... I could not figure out how to order. No one greets you at the door, so I just stood there for a little while. Eventually I sat in a booth, but no one offered to take my order. A few others walked in, and they seemed to grab their carry-out orders from the front counter, so I stood up there approximately 3-5 minutes and still no one offered to help. I ended up leaving without any food. Not a very good experience and super confusing. Not a friendly atmosphere. Disappointed.

I read the reviews and since I live close by I decided to give it a try. Excellent place. Clean, efficient and great food. I had a pollo asado burrito, carne asada and pescado tacos. Whew! I'll definitely be back.
